1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using GuideQR (the “Service”), operated by Studio Hedera (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

GuideQR is a web-based platform that enables facility operators to create AI-powered audio guides and share them with visitors via QR codes. The Service includes content generation using AI, text-to-speech audio synthesis, and QR code distribution tools.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian to use the Service.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Content

• You retain ownership of all content (text, images, audio) you upload to the Service.
• By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
• You represent that you have the right to upload and share any content you provide.
• You must not upload content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses third-party AI models (Google Gemini) and text-to-speech technology (Google Cloud TTS) to generate guide text and audio. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all generated content before publishing. We are not liable for any inaccuracies in AI-generated content.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Use the Service to distribute malware, spam, or harmful content.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.

7. Service Plans & Pricing

We offer both free and paid plans. Plan details, limits, and pricing are displayed on the Service and may change with prior notice. We reserve the right to modify pricing or features with at least 30 days' notice for active paid subscribers.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless required by law to retain it.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tokyo, Japan.
